Family Word Centre

The Family Word Centre is an organization that equips children with the spiritual and secular enrichment needed to succeed in life.

​

Services include a weekly Bible school and an extensive offering of programs during school holidays.

​

We have been holding summer programs for children for over 15 years. In the midst of the pandemic, we're equipped to go virtual to continue our impact.

Vacation Bible School

THEME

AMAZING ME

For boys and girls | Ages  4 - 16 

The curriculum includes:

  • Personal Identification in Christ

  • Positive Thinking

  • Character Formation

  • Bible Based Lifestyle

  • Introduction to Spiritual practices and discipline ​

The age-based curriculum includes the following

  • Take-home videos based on child's age

  • Zoom classes with age-appropriate illustrations and 

  • Graduation and Award ceremony at the end of the course

Virtuous Young Woman and Godly & Modern Gentleman

For Boys and Girls  |  Age groups: 8-10,  11-13,  14-16

VYMGMG

Our Oldest and most popular course, the (Virtuous Young Woman (VYM) and the Godly and Modern Gentleman (GMG) program is a one-week intensive training course for boys and girls. The curriculum is age-appropriate and participants will receive the relevant videos and illustrations to aid them through the course. The curriculum includes the following:

PURITY TALK

  • Virginity a treasure to be guarded 

  • CRUSH!!!-  How to deal with it

  • Sexuality/Purity Session

​

DOMESTICATION

  • Kitchen etiquette 

  • Home management 

  • Basic house Keeping + hacks/skills 

  • Creative housekeeping

 

SELF CARE & SOFT SKILLS

  • Personal Organization 

  • Body care 

  • Peer pressure

  • Entrepreneurship

SPIRITUALITY

  • How to develop a personal relationship with God.

  • Spiritual Discipline and Habits​

  • Practical Demonstration of Proverbs 31 Woman and Man of Valour

The program ends with the Crowning of Virtuous Woman and Modern Gentleman 2020
